This course has been postponed due to recent redeployment in the field with new dates for early July or September, to be announced. Those registered will receive communication from BASHH Head Office about deferring registrations to the new dates in due course.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Safeguarding Children and Adult Survivors of abuse in a sexual health setting

  • Assess and clinically manage children with STIs
  • Identify the clinical Indicators of sexual abuse in children
  • Comprehend the effect of domestic abuse on children
  • Demonstrate our safeguarding responsibilities towards adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse

 

PROGRAMME

Participants should select workshop A or B both in the 11:20 slot and 12:50 slot. Workshops will be split into smaller groups for discussion and participants will be assigned to a group during the meeting.
