In line with STIF competencies, we have also decided to hold a regular 'Train the trainer' course for course directors or facilitators aimed at explaining the theory course content, and delivering some extra teaching around relevant subjects for teachers.

The first Train the Trainer - STIF theory will be held online on: Wednesday January 29th 2025 from 9:30-12:30 and charged at £75 per attendee. In addition to an outline of the new course content, we will receive training from Dr Natalie Edelman on 'trauma-informed teaching methods'. 

Program Timetable:

09:30 – 10:30  New STIF Theory Course Structure (presentation and discussion)

10:45 – 12:00 Trauma-informed Teaching Methods (Dr Natalie Edelman)

If you plan to hold a STIF course in 2025 this will be essential viewing to ensure you understand the new format and have a chance to ask any questions about the course. If you run a new format course before September 2025 we will refund the £75 attendance fee as an incentive!

Cancellations must be received in writing and sent to the conference administration team. Regrettably, BASHH cannot transfer you to another event or training course if you are unable to attend.
